Travel blogging: Is it really helpful ; who are the people getting benefited; targeted audience; Is it a passion or the way to earn handsome amount of money??

Today’s topic is something that many people might have thought but it remains just a thought only. Now a days Blogging is in the boom in market. Blogging doesn’t necessarily imply that you need to write on a particular topic. It’s just an expression of one’s thoughts. You can write whatever you think. People who are not good at speaking can open their heart via writing. So off late this has also become one of the important mode of communication. People write about anything what they want. People pen down their life experiences, about fashion, about management and few about traveling, like I do.

 

When someone gets to know that you are a Blogger you could immediately expect these questions from them:

1) When you started it?

2) On what are you writing about?

3) Is anybody reading?

4) Why are you blogging?

5) Are you making money from it?

All the questions makes sense as well. So I thought why not throw some light on it. Since I am a Travel Blogger and I know what it is all about.

Travel Blogging

This is what I do. I choose to blog my travel stories. Why?? Click here . I want people to know what I do when I travel. Where I go, where I live, Whom I meet etc.. There are many bloggers who are doing the same. Everybody has some or the other motto of doing this, Like I have- To ease the definition of traveling. It is not a job, nobody is forcing you to do. It’s just that we all are doing because we want to do. Some are professional bloggers while for some it’s a hobby. My salutes to those who are doing it full time.

So what about people who are not doing it full time? It’s not that they are not dedicated nor they are dis interested, but it’s just that they are occupied with something else. It’s not necessary that you have to do it full time. Just one article per day would suffice. Travel blogging is not that easy what people think. It needs a thought how to present your story, contents, photographs etc because this is the way by which people get connected. And if they are connected then it will be a win win situation for both.

Is it really helpful

Obviously folks!

Blogging is something that will always be helpful. Whenever anybody wants to go to some place, the first step would be to Google it. The results will include one or the other website. We just read the content whatever we need and then will close it. We never look into the website what is it all about; who is behind it; Is it really a travel blogger or some travel companies.

Who are the people getting benefited; Targeted audience

It is really difficult to say who are getting benefited whether it’s a tourist or a traveler. This is because it is giving benefit to people at large. Whenever any person started blogging, at the initial stages you will not be knowing who are your visitors. But gradually, after some time you will get to know. This is because you will get comment on your post and then you can start interacting with people online. Like in case of travel blogging(my experience)- At the initial stage it was only tourist who were visiting the blog but after some time , now many bloggers, travel agents, hotel owners and tourist from around the world are visiting the blog. So many factors are there. But at the end what is more important is that people are getting benefited.

Is it a passion or the way to earn handsome amount of money

Yes, you got it right. Many people believe that it is the easiest way to make/earn money. Hahahaa , its true believe me. I also started laughing when I first heard this. If this would be the easiest way to earn then we would all prefer to me nomads in this world, no science or commerce graduates, no engineers and doctors etc. I have met many people, read about many and realized that all of them have something in common, what is it??  It’s the passion that have lured them to become nomad. Anyone who is travel blogging is doing it out of his passion.

Who doesn’t want a comfortable life?? Everybody is desperate about it. Everybody wants to enjoy their weekends partying with friends. Everybody wants to own a car. So do you really think all this could be possible if one will start travel blogging. By sitting in a cubicle or an Air-Conditioned compartment we all talk about them and say that only they have a life. They are traveling, seeing new places and earning money. Their life seems to be a fairytale life to others. But living the life of a travel is really challenging. Click here to read about bloggers who are living the life of a travel.

All of us want to travel to see different places but at the comfort of our home. We are not ready to sacrifice our material needs and we do not want to compromise our luxurious living. If someone is passionate about traveling it means that he is the one who knows the difference between a Requirement and Need. He is the one who is ready to sacrifice all the comfort of his life only for the sake of traveling. People will not be knowing that what it takes if you have plans to live the life of a traveler. It’s the common human nature- We only intend to see what we want to see. If we share a common vision, come on, let’s visualize the world and embark on a merry go round.
