Hey guys this is Gautam from Freaky Travel. I am a Travel Blogger. In my daily life I meet a lot of people. Some become friends and some just walk by. So today’s story is about a girl whom I met and now we are inseparable. It’s been 2 years since I met her.
We met on Social Media. She was one of the avid readers of my blog. I thanked her for her support and welcomed her to the digital world of travellers. In this way we set about speaking to each other. She had no idea about the life of nomads. I introduced her to it. We soon become really good friends. I began enjoying her company. She seemed to understand me. Her presence in times of difficulties was moral support to me. We met for the first time after 10 months. It was truly an experience meeting a reader cum friend.
Now let’s talk about the girl. She was just like any other girl with no extraordinary traits. Having a good education qualification, a well to do family- she seemed to be a living proof of an ideal life. I used to call her princess. I thought she had an easy life with no hardships, but I couldn’t be more wrong. People are not what they always try to be. As the saying goes, the brightest smile is the one which has suffered the most. She made me believe in this. She was really helpless, there was no cure to her pain, but still she was not ready to give up. She desired to continue the journey, no matter what came in her way. At first I was unaware about her sufferings, but as I came to know I was stupefied. I literally cried many times thinking- Why god made her life miserable? I asked her the same question and she replied beautifully: “God gave me this because he knows that I have the power to live with it.” From that day on I started to adore her. If I was in her shoes I definitely would have broken down. The eagerness to earn money through her own hard work and to lead an Independent life is the inner force which drives her.
She has impacted my life enormously. Today I am a better person because of her. Earlier I was a self- centred. My life, my aspirations and my money was all that mattered to me. But she made me realize that it should be our life, our dreams and our money. I invariably believed that I was a happy soul and needed no companion, but she made me see the grandness of a comrade. Whenever I was wrong, she always corrected me. If I didn’t know how to respond in a peculiar situation- She was constantly there to talk about matters and always made things simple. She is a form of self-motivation for me. Previously I was a rough and hard guy, but now I have become soft hearted. In short, she made me a better person so that I can live a better life and realize my dream.
Through this article I desire to tell her that she is undeniably #madeofgreat.
