First time at Indi blogger meet
First time with my very own family which I never knew about. Every time the same people liked my post and that in very less from Bangalore. I constantly view the motion pictures of previous meets and wonder when I am conking out to be here.
But as I got an Invite I was really happy that my wait was going to end and soon I will be meeting my family members (blogger’s family).
I have blocked my calendar from 5.30pm till 9.30pm. I came early from the office. Got dressed up and left around 5pm. I was considering entirely about this encounter. Was excited but little nervous. First time I noticed that Bangalore traffic is really poor. I was getting impatient every time when the driver was holding back the auto at the signal. Finally, at 5.35pm I reached.
The meet was on the L2 Mysore Hall. The first guy I met was a first year engineering student (Android Blogger) aged 22 years. We met in the lift and started chatting randomly. He was also from the same place as me. Now the time was 6pm and still we were standing outside. Around 6.15pm volunteers came and asked us to be in the queue.
Then the second guy I met was after me in the queue. He came from Vizag just for the meet. He was a Civil Service aspirant (Blog on everyday life). And so eventually I got indoors and went looking for the place to sit. I got to the 2nd table from the stage and seated. Only 2 guys were sitting there. The stage set up was amazing. Along both the side of the stage a big screen was flashing the name of all the bloggers who were going into the room and all the trail of tweets that was continuously moving. I felt on top of the world as I saw: Gautam Modi @freaky travel entered 5 mins back.
And so all the chairs were getting engaged. The time was 6.40 pm already! After that I saw many more bloggers. I met Vikas (blog on contest, book reviews and poetry), Seema (a travel blogger), Arjun (another travel blogger) and many other bloggers like food bloggers, blog on personal life, blog on people behaviour and mostly were the tech bloggers.
Then show started: A live performance by any band, some activities, Asus product launched and finally the last act performed by all the teams comprise of 30 members almost. The most amazing one was the last one. It was just hilarious. Everybody was participative. It was all together a great evening. And at last it ended with a photo shoot followed by dinner.
I enjoyed a lot. The situation was in my favour. The surrounding was filled with all like-minded peoples. Am looking forward to the second meet now. Thanks Indi blogger team and Asus for making this happen.
Truly said: Indian by birth and Blogger by choice.
