Best Place to eat in Bangalore

It’s been 2yrs 6 months today since I am in Bangalore. Bangalore has everything what youth wants except good food. I am stating this because majorly Bangalore comprises of people from Delhi, Kolkata and Mumbai. These three places are known for their amazing food. People don’t like the food here because they have a sharp taste buds and constantly tend to compare the food with their hometown. I have seen many of my friends also complaining about the food. And these sorts of people are very much judgmental. They incline to eat at a random restaurant and will conclude that Bangalore is not for foodies, which is a big NO. People should realize that- When you are in Rome, do as Romans do. Stop fooling around to eat north Indian food at a South Indian Restaurant and vice versa.
1) MTR-Mavalli Tiffin Room
It is one of the oldest place to eat awesome local food. Yes, it’s very reasonable. The breakfast menu is limited but still it’s delicious. Meals here in MTR are amazing. If you ordered unlimited meals then you will have to eat everything out of the menu. For Sambhar Vada, you will have to reach before 9am. Also, it has many branches all over Bangalore. The first outlet- Outside lalbagh still following the old tradition and is the best.
2) Vidyarthi Bhawan
This is located in one of the oldest residential areas of Bangalore- Gandhi Bazaar, Basvangudi. The specialty of the place is the menu. It merely consists of only 8 items, but still awesome. You will see all the local people at this place. It is also very reasonable. The best part is that one waiter will take care of almost 6 to 7 tables. And their memory power is so strong that they will not write the order, they will memorize it. The server, the ambience and the style of service is still the traditional.
3) Shri Sagar- CTR
This is situated in the heart of Bangalore- Malleshwaram. This place is very time bound. You have to be here around 8 or 9 am because it closed down at 11 in the forenoon. Masala Dosa is the truth of the situation. I don’t have much to say about this place. When you will be here this place itself speaks about himself.
4) Vasudev Adigas
This is likewise situated in many regions of Bangalore, but my favorite is the one at Trinity Metro. This place serves everything from South Indian to North Indian to Chinese food. The place actually serves the delicious- Puri Sagu. Yes, it’s a must eat if you are at Adigas. The best part of this place that it celebrates each and every occasion like an Independence Day they served three colored dishes.
5) Punjabi by nature
You want to eat Chole Bhature! This is the best place to eat North Indian Food. It’s a very renowned chain of eating place in Delhi. Not very costly and Service is amazing. Their drinks are also amazing- Aam Panna, Jaljira, Mango Lassi, Matha etc. They have their branch at two places in Bangalore: Whitefield and Kormangala. You will also find them in the food court of Phoenix Market City and Orion Mall.
6) Matteo and Starbucks
The best place in town to kill your time and sip a coffee. If you have some work, then go to Starbucks, but if you want to see the young Bangalore crowd then Matteo is the place. Matteo- Expresso, Lemon Ice Tea, Strawberry and Blueberry Cheese Cake are the best in town. Starbucks- Expresso and Brownie are to die for. Matteo is located at Indiranagar and Church Street whereas Starbucks has many outlets around Bangalore.
7) Mast Kalandar
If you want to eat ghar jaisa khana then this is the place. Amazing finger licking food but its little costly. On an average you will have to drop 100-150 rupees for one meal. It is spread all over Bangalore. The best portion is they serve all the seasonal food also. The great variety of people who eat less and heaven for those who eat more. They also have a great variety of Thali to choose from.
8) Paradise, Meghana foods and Birinz
If you are a fan of Biryani then try this place. They are the best biriyaniwalas in town. Whether it’s the vegetable or non veg it doesn’t count. Paradise House is in Indiranagar and Frazer Town. Meghana Foods all over Bangalore and Birinz only have the takeaway option with just one house in BTM.
9) Chaipatty
Are you a fan of Chai with Pakaoda? Then no worries Chaipatty is here in Bangalore. It’s on 100ft Road, Indiranagar. A very decorated and at the same time very Indian like place. The menu is amazing and seating arrangement is awesome. It’s really great. I often come here to eat pakodas and a drink called Apple Shangria.
10) Empire
Since Bangalore sleep early and if you are hungry after 11pm then what to do? No worries, we have Empire, the chain of amazing restaurant famous for its Shwarma and Chicken Dosa. Don’t worry, it also serve vegetarian food. It will be very much crowded after 11 pm. Lemon Soda is the highlight. It has branches all over Bangalore.
