Some of the best memories ever

Ma. Enough has been said about Mom. But every time it’s less as compared to what she does or is doing for her child in everyday life. She will sacrifice everything for her child, but never make a count of it. She is just awesome and great. No word in this world can describe her personality. She plays a critical part in each of our lifetimes. Without her, our life is incomplete.

I am staying off from home for nearly 8 years. Yes, it’s really high time. Previously, when I used to go home, she pampered me a lot and at the time of leaving she will always cry. And at present also the situation is same. For past 8 years she has not changed a bit. I am a travel junkie. I go every 3 months, but don’t know why after every trip I feel like travelling home. Whenever I will move home after every trip my mom will be eagerly waiting to hear my tales. And yes, she always does that. I still remember, when I was in school, she always asks me what you did in school and I always used to tell her. She used to scold me a great deal when I was a kid, this is a fact, but she also loves me more than anything. She knows everything about me more than any of my acquaintances. Whenever I need her, she will be available.

She has never said yes to any of my travels and I always used to curse her for that. Whenever I used to call her and tell- Mom am going to this place. Her reply- You can go afterwards. But even so I don’t know how she instantly said yes when I told her about my dream- Backpacking around Europe for 2 months. Besides, she backed me for leaving a job and go on a trip. She was looking really excited when I told her roughly the places I am dying to see. And she ordered me to ring every day wherever you are. When I was in Brussels I didn’t call her for continuous 3 days and on the 4th day when I switched on my cell phone, I was stunned to see 20 missed calls on her. She was really worried about that.

When I was applying for her passport, she asked me-“Why it is needed?” I told- “Mom, I will take you and dad to the best places around the world.” She started laughing and told first you fulfil your dreams. Hence today I started getting to the leaning of the places where to get them on their inaugural trip overseas.

Now am on a trip for last 33 days. I call her either on WhatsApp or Skype. And the first thing she always ask- Where are you and send the photographs. I know she will be delighted to see me. More than that I can’t wait to tell her about my experiences, what I did, what I ate, people I met etc.
