!Hola. This is Gautam (alias freak) and I wanted to be a Nomad, originally from Bengaluru, India.
I have been traveling from last 7 years but from last 2 years its like am unstoppable and did 60% of my traveling while working in a cubicle. Trying harder to come out of the it and working my way around on a permanent basis while traveling.
I was never a travel freak. I didn’t take my first trip overseas until I was 23. Only travel with friends and family, I had no travel experience. After completing studies, got a decent Job and standard 4 weeks a year Vacation. So I wanted to use that time for travel. After all, it was a vacation time, right? So I went to Bangkok with my Travel Buddy, my first trip overseas.
That trip changed my mind.
After returning from that trip I was not able to sleep, not feeling like working in a cubicle. In short, I was totally hooked. I wanted to tell people about my experience, about local people how they fared with tourist and most probably about the place. I wanted to change people perception about Bangkok.
I was very much fascinated by this beautiful city. I met many fellow travelers who were totally like me (jacked in their cubicle life and struggling to come out).
So how come this Idea of website?
I was discussing it with one of my friend, who owns many websites. He gave me the Idea of starting a website (for sharing your experience with others and change people’s perception about Bangkok).
I started meeting people and got to know about their travel experiences. I was so shocked to hear that many people think that you need to be rich in order to travel (Travel need a lot of money). In the mean time I attended many workshops on Budget Traveling by Avid Travelers. I want people to know that traveling does not need a lot of money. Also, the benefits of traveling and what an all are there in this Universe.
This website will provide you with all this information. It will also give you the tips how to book a hotel, trip, what are the different ideas of travel, insights about city and many more.
So all of you stick to this website and learn all the means to travel whether alone or with friends and family and feel free to ask me any questions.
