I as a travel expert have planned many HM trips to Singapore. Later on, every trip I took myself- Is it really a HM?
I was befuddled as to why people go to Singapore on their Honeymoon. Hence I got to Singapore just to find out Why.
After getting back, I have just one thing to Say-Please Couple Stop Embarrassing Singapore. Yes, it’s not a place to go with your newly wedded wife. Singapore deserves more than this. Singapore has a very rich history and a massive growth rate. Even escalator is so fast, then thinking how the life will be. And since you are on your HM so better hold your pace slow. Even after returning back you will allege it was a Hectic trip and we didn’t like Singapore much. Yes, this is just my concern.
Singapore is totally pulled in by humans. And when it makes my man you will find everything totally different. And then live with how it is. Singapore is the only tourist destination in the universe which has catered the needs of the family especially kids.
Perhaps it’s merely a red dot on this solid ground, but if you will zoom in you will find that this country owns a great deal more than any developing country. In Singapore you need at least 10 days. Because 3-4 days will go to watch all the Tourist destination, two days you need to explore the World Famous Shopping Streets of Singapore- Orchard Road and Bugis Street. And rest you need to examine the real city. All these affairs you cannot get along in your HM.
As per Wikipedia– “A Honeymoon is the traditional holiday taken by newlyweds to celebrate their marriage in intimacy and seclusion.” Even Wikipedia knows it better what is the actual meaning of HM.
I am not saying that don’t go with your wife. What I intend to say is going on a vacation and not on honeymoon. Singapore is purely a family destination. And it is best for children. Let’s examine what is there to see in Singapore.
Singapore Zoo, River Safari, Night Safari, Adventure Cove Water Park and many others are especially for Kids. Adults can also go if it interests them. Even many excursions in Sentosa and Universal are specifically created for children. If you travel in groups or family, then only you can enjoy the most.
Likewise, if you couples are vegetarian then you have to remain near to City Square Mall, which is one of the poorest areas of Singapore. And even if you stay in this area, then this is not even a good and relaxed holiday for you. Thus, there are enormous reasons that why Singapore is not a place for HM couples nor it claims that. It’s a perfect family getaway.
I went to Indonesia, Thailand, Kuala Lumpur and many other places. Everywhere I saw Couples on their Honeymoon but in Singapore I saw only Indians but on their HM. I talked to many people from different countries and even from India. Everybody said- It’s a cool family destination and our kids enjoyed a great deal. And When I asked Indian Couple I was taken aback to hear the reason- Nowadays everybody is travelling to Singapore so we are also here. I was very wild on their ground of being in Singapore but I didn’t tell them anything and took the air forth.
I request all the couples to think wisely before planning their HM. After all, it’s the best time you both will have and it will be remembered throughout. So when you look back you should not regret that why you choose Singapore as your HM destination.
